The Kraken introduces a new concept in aquarium controllers and provides high-power 24V DC switched outputs and a large heavy-duty power supply. This allows “power bricks” and “wall warts” to be removed from aquarium systems, significantly reducing wire clutter. Eight Force Ports Eight controllable DC power ports, each with individual power monitoring capabilities to safely manage aquarium equipment like lighting, water pumps, protein skimmers, filters, and much more using 24V power. Four Drive Ports Drive Ports provide power (switched 12V DC) and communicate between devices! They also monitor current and can be notified if a failure occurs. Drive Ports can support dosing pumps, cooling fans, cabinet LED lights, and more. Battery Backup Port A specific connection for an external 12V Lead Acid Battery to keep your system alive during power failures. A battery will keep the entire HYDROS system running in Low Power Mode during a power failure.
