KoralColor supplies targeted biochromes and color-supporting nutrients that encourage the natural expression of corals’ chromoproteins and fluorescent proteins—plus the striking pigments seen in Tridacnid clams. Designed for modern low-nutrient reefs, it supports color without relying on dyes or boosting nitrate/phosphate.

Directions (General)

1. Shake well.

2. Start low: Dose per label for total system volume 2–3× per week, beginning at ½ strength for the first 1–2 weeks.

3. Observe & adjust: Increase toward full dose based on coral response and nutrient stability.

4. Filtration: Normal skimming is fine; if using UV/ozone, dose in a high-flow area and allow several hours of contact time.

5. Do not overdose. Always follow the bottle’s instructions.

Tip: Track PAR, nitrate, and phosphate. Color typically improves when nutrients are stable and light is appropriate for the species.

Best Practices

• Maintain stable reef parameters: Alk 7.5–9 dKH, Ca 420–450 ppm, Mg 1280–1380 ppm, Salinity 1.025–1.026, Temp 77–79°F (25–26°C).

• Ensure balanced lighting (spectrum and intensity) and consistent photoperiod.

• For healthiest coloration, pair with quality foods and (optionally) an amino-acid supplement; avoid rapid nutrient swings.

Compatibility

• Safe for mixed reefs, clam displays, and macroalgae refugia when used as directed.

• Works alongside carbon, GFO/PO4 media, and protein skimmers.

• Space at least 24 hours from peroxide/medications/strong oxidizers.
