Overview

Keep new and established aquariums looking crystal clear. MicroBacter Clean combines targeted beneficial bacteria with natural enzymes to reduce dissolved and particulate organics, loosen grime on rocks and sand, and help keep surfaces cleaner between water changes—without harsh chemicals. Ideal during the “ugly stage” and for ongoing maintenance in freshwater and marine/reef systems.

Directions (General)

1. Shake very well.

2. Turn off UV/ozone and reduce aggressive skimming for ~24 hours after each dose to allow attachment.

3. Dose per label for your total system volume. For new/dirty systems, dose daily for the first 1–2 weeks; then switch to weekly or as needed.

4. Maintain strong aeration and normal filtration. Continue regular water changes.

Do not overdose. If water clouds briefly after dosing, that’s usually normal and clears as the filter catches up.

Best Practices

• Synergizes with regular mechanical filtration (rinse sponges/pads so biofilms receive oxygenated flow).

• Keep nutrients in reasonable ranges; excess feeding fuels organic buildup.

• For problem areas, gently baste rock/sand during dosing to lift detritus into the filter.

• In reefs, resume full skimming the day after dosing.

Compatibility

• Safe for freshwater, saltwater, reefs, planted tanks, shrimp/snails, and most medias (carbon, GFO, macroalgae refugia).

• Avoid simultaneous dosing with medications, peroxide, or sterilizers. Space those 24–48 hrs from MicroBacter Clean.
