Overview

End phosphorus bottlenecks with smaller doses. NeoPhos 5X delivers the same clean, plant-available phosphate (PO₄³⁻) as NeoPhos, but at five times the concentration—perfect for large tanks, high-uptake CO₂ aquascapes, and dosing pumps where precision and economy matter.

Directions (General)

1. Test first. Measure PO₄ with a reliable kit/photometer.

2. Dose per label for total system volume. Because this is 5× stronger, use 1/5 the NeoPhos dose to reach the same ppm increase.

3. Increase gradually. Make small adjustments; re-test after 1–2 hours and again the next day.

4. Maintain a range suited to your setup (commonly 0.2–0.6 ppm in CO₂ tanks; 0.05–0.2 ppm low-tech).

5. Re-establish targets after water changes. If also dosing NeoNitro and micros/iron, stagger by a few hours.

Avoid big swings—stable PO₄ with balanced N and K discourages nuisance algae.

• Balance the trio: Light • CO₂ • Nutrients. Raise together to avoid bottlenecks.

• Track NO₃/PO₄/K weekly and judge by new growth.

• Typical N:P (by weight) goals: ~10:1–20:1; adjust to plant demand and light.

• Keep a simple dosing log; a doser enables consistent micro-additions.
