Overview

The AvidAqua Traveler Mega is a large-format, reef-safe acclimation/transfer box for fish, inverts, and corals. Magnetically mounts to your display or sump for hands-free acclimation, observation, isolation, and frag holding—so you can manage new arrivals and time-outs without nets, baskets, or clutter.

Common Uses

Setup & Use

1. Rinse in RO/DI before first use.

2. Mount the wet side inside the tank/sump and align the dry side outside.

3. For acclimation, float to match temperature, then place and allow flow through the slots.

4. Use the divider to separate inhabitants or to group frags.

5. When finished, lift out, drain, and return livestock to the display.

Tips

• Position in moderate flow, away from powerheads that could blast small occupants.

• For tiny inverts, add a fine mesh liner if needed to further reduce slot size.

• Keep the lid on for jump-prone species.

Care & Maintenance

• Rinse with fresh water after use; wipe salt creep from slots and lid.

• Inspect magnet encasement regularly; discontinue use if coating is compromised.

• Avoid trapping sand/grit between the magnets and pane.
