Overview

ASF Coral Fixer is a two-part, reef-safe epoxy putty for mounting frags, securing rockwork, and quick underwater repairs. It kneads to a moldable consistency, cures underwater, and sets firm—so your corals and aquascape stay exactly where you place them.

Key Features

• Underwater use—bonds wet rock, plugs, and acrylic/glass contact points

• Fast set, strong hold—work time ~5–10 min; initial set ~15–30 min; full cure in 24 hrs

• Reef-safe once cured—no dyes or perfumes

• Non-sag putty—sticks where you press it, even on vertical surfaces

• Versatile—frag mounting, rock pinning, overflow/pipe patching, and scape stabilization

Directions

1. Prep: Turn off wavemakers/return for a few minutes to make placement easier.

2. Knead: Cut the needed amount; knead by hand until the color is uniform (no streaks).

3. Mount: Press a small bead onto the frag plug/rock, then seat the frag and press firmly for 10–20 seconds.

4. Set: Allow 15–30 minutes for an initial hold before restoring full flow. Full cure in ~24 hours.

5. Tip: For extra grip, sandwich a thin layer of cyanoacrylate gel between the frag and the putty (“glue–putty–glue” method).

Skimmer/Water Notes

• Temporary skimmer overactivity is possible during curing. Lower the skimmer water level, open the air, or pause it for 2–6 hours.

• Run a small amount of activated carbon if water clouds.

Best Practices

• Use small amounts; multiple small anchors hold better than one large blob.

• Roughen smooth surfaces for improved bite.

• Avoid covering coral tissue—apply to bare skeleton/plug only.
