Overview

Add automatic protection to your UV system. This in-line flow switch (GRID) interlocks power to the UV so the lamp only runs when water is moving—helping prevent overheated housings, scorched sleeves, and premature lamp failure.

Installation Notes

1. Install after the pump and mechanical filtration; align with the flow arrow.

2. Solvent-weld the 2" unions to your PVC; allow full cure before pressurizing.

3. Mount the switch so the sensing chamber stays flooded (no trapped air).

4. Connect the cords per the diagram to interlock UV power through the flow switch.

5. Test by starting/stopping the pump—UV should turn off when flow stops.

6. Never submerge the electrical components; keep cords and connections dry/secured.
