Overview:
Pond Matrix™ is a high-porosity biomedia engineered for efficient biofiltration in ponds. Unlike traditional plastic biomaterials that offer only external surface area, Pond Matrix™ features internal macroporous surfaces designed to support nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. This unique property enables simultaneous removal of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate within the same filter system.
