How to Use

1. Rinse rocks gently in RO/DI or tank water to remove dust.

2. Place the rack in a moderate-flow section after mechanical filtration.

3. Insert the four rocks into the rack.

4. For new systems, seed with a trusted bacteria culture; in established tanks, add gradually over 7–10 days.

5. Maintenance: If detritus accumulates or flow slows, lift rack and swish rocks in a bucket of aquarium water—do not bleach.

Tips

• Handle rocks carefully; porous ceramics are fragile.

• When upgrading or replacing media, stagger changes to preserve biological capacity.

• Monitor ammonia, nitrite, nitrate for 2–3 weeks after adding substantial new media.
