Brightwell Aquatics Xport NO3 Cubes
Overview
Brightwell Aquatics Xport NO3 Cubes are advanced biological filtration media engineered to rapidly and safely reduce nitrate in marine, reef, and freshwater aquariums. Utilizing Brightwell’s proprietary NanoIntelex high-porosity technology, each cube provides an immense internal surface area that supports both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, allowing for complete nitrogen-cycle processing — from ammonia to nitrite to nitrate and finally to nitrogen gas. Designed for long-term, stable denitrification, they are ideal for heavily stocked aquariums, sumps, and refugiums.
Key Features
-
High-efficiency nitrate control: Promotes anaerobic bacterial growth deep within the cube structure to convert nitrate to nitrogen gas
-
Massive surface area: Each cube provides exceptional biological capacity for both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria
-
Long-lasting performance: Maintains nitrate reduction for months or years without replacement when properly maintained
-
Chemically inert: Will not leach phosphates, silicates, or metals into aquarium water
-
Dual biological function: Supports aerobic bacteria on the outer surfaces for ammonia and nitrite conversion, and anaerobic bacteria internally for nitrate removal
-
Low maintenance: Only periodic gentle rinsing needed to remove detritus while preserving bacterial colonies
-
Safe for all systems: Compatible with marine, reef, pond, and freshwater aquariums
-
Best used in conjunction with Brightwell MicroBacter7, MicroBacter Clean, or MicroBacter Start XLM for optimal bacterial colonization and performance
