Turn your Wyze cam into a reef monitor with the AvidAqua Wyze Camera Mount Kit. The included ModMag magnetic mount secures your camera to the outside of the tank or stand, while the low-profile bracket aligns the lens for clear viewing of your display or sump—no drilling, no messy adhesives.

Compatibility

• Not intended for Pan/Tilt models with large bases.

• Mounts on the outside of glass or acrylic; confirm ModMag rating vs. your pane thickness.

• Works on vertical stand panels for side-angle shots.

Setup & Use

1. Clean the surface (remove dust/salt creep).

2. Snap the camera into the angle bracket, route the USB cable through the channels.

3. Place the ModMag outer half on the panel and attach the bracketed camera.

4. Adjust tilt/aim; create a drip loop before the power supply.

5. In the Wyze app, set your detection zone and IR preferences (disable IR if reflections occur).

Tips

• For glare, shoot slightly off-axis and dim room lights.

• If filming the sump, avoid direct splash zones; use the splash lip as needed.

• Wipe the panel for clearer footage—fingerprints show up on camera.

Care & Maintenance

• Wipe salt creep from the mount and cable during routine maintenance.

• Inspect magnet encasement periodically; discontinue if coating is compromised.

• Keep sand/grit off mating surfaces.
