ASF Reef Shots Probiotics deliver pre-measured doses of live beneficial bacteria to rapidly seed and stabilize your biofilter. Ideal for new tanks, after deep cleanings, or anytime you want extra biological resilience and clearer water—without dyes or perfumes.

Directions & Dosing

1. Shake each shot gently to resuspend bacteria.

2. Turn off UV/ozone and remove filter socks for 12–24 hours after dosing to maximize settlement.

3. Dose into high flow (sump or strong circulation).

New Tanks / After Resets

• Day 1: 1 shot per 25–40 gal (95–150 L).

• Days 2–7: ½–1 shot daily per 25–40 gal while lightly feeding or ghost-feeding.

• Test ammonia/nitrite daily; add livestock only after both read 0 ppm.

Recovery (after power outage, media changes, medications)

• 1 shot per 40–60 gal (150–230 L) daily for 2–3 days.

Maintenance (established systems)

• 1 shot per 60–80 gal (230–300 L) weekly or after large water changes.

• For nanos, use ½ shot (dispense into a clean measuring cup).

Skimmer tip: If the skimmer overreacts, lower the water level or pause 4–12 hours.

Monitoring

• Track NH₃/NH₄⁺, NO₂⁻, NO₃⁻ and observe clarity/polyp extension.

• Reduce frequency if nutrients drop too quickly or persistent haze appears.

Compatibility

• Works with carbon dosing, GAC, and trace programs.

• Avoid simultaneous use of oxidizers/antibiotics. Resume UV/ozone the next day.
