Overview

ASF Reef Shots Calcium provides clean, pre-measured Ca doses to maintain stable calcium—critical for SPS/LPS corals, clams, and coralline algae. Single-use shots make supplementation precise and mess-free for routine maintenance or quick corrections.

Directions & Dosing

1. Test first: Measure Ca, dKH, and Mg before dosing.

2. Dose into high flow (sump or strong circulation).

3. Starting plan

   • Maintenance: 1 shot per 50–80 gal (190–300 L) 2–4× per week.

   • Higher demand / correction: Up to 1 shot per 40–60 gal, then re-test and repeat as needed.

   • Nanos: Use ½ shot (dispense into a clean measuring cup).

4. Re-test calcium 30–60 min after dosing and again the next day; adjust frequency to hold target.

5. Separate from high-pH additives by 5–10 minutes to minimize precipitation.

Compatibility

• Works with two-part, kalkwasser, and Ca reactors

• Skimmer-friendly (if the skimmer overreacts, lower water level or pause 2–4 hours)

• Avoid simultaneous use with oxidizers/sterilizers
