Overview

Mid-size, high-clarity UV-C sterilizer for ponds and aquariums. This Classic 40W model uses 3/4" ports and adds a manual wiper to keep the quartz sleeve clean between services—ideal for medium ponds, larger displays, and reef life-support polishing loops.

Note: Wipers are not recommended for saltwater use; using a wiper on saltwater can void the wiper warranty. Many marine installs choose the non-wiper variant and clean the sleeve during lamp changes.

Installation Notes

  1. Plumb after mechanical filtration on a pressure line; avoid gravity-feed.

  2. Use unions/valves to set and service flow to your target dose.

  3. Operate the wiper with the lamp off and pressure relieved.

  4. Protect from weather; do not submerge.

  5. Replace the lamp every ~9–12 months of continuous use to maintain dose.
