Overview

Compact, durable UV-C sterilizer for ponds and aquariums. This Classic 15W model with 2" slip ports adds a built-in manual wiper to help keep the quartz sleeve clear between services—great for polishing loops, QT systems, and modest displays.

Note: Aqua Ultraviolet does not recommend wipers for saltwater use; doing so can void the wiper warranty. For marine systems, many installers choose the non-wiper variant and clean the sleeve during lamp changes.

Installation Notes

  1. Install after mechanical filtration on a pressure line; avoid gravity-feed.

  2. Use unions/valves to set/service flow and to isolate the unit.

  3. Operate the wiper with the lamp off; open/close valves as needed to relieve pressure first.

  4. Protect from weather; do not submerge.

  5. Replace lamp every ~9–12 months of continuous use to maintain dose.
