  1. Test first: Review recent ICP results and confirm targets for your system.

  2. Calculate dose: Use the label’s dose-to-ppb/µg·L⁻¹ relationship for total system volume (display + sump minus displacement).

  3. Split corrections: For larger adjustments, add in multiple small doses over 24–72 hours.

  4. Maintenance: Once targets are reached, switch to low, regular micro-doses per your BluePrint schedule.

  5. Add in high flow (sump/overflow). Do not mix with other concentrates in the same container.

Tip: Make trace additions after water changes or fresh media swaps so contact time is consistent before export.

Best Practices

  • Hold core parameters steady: Alk 7.5–9 dKH, Ca 420–450 ppm, Mg 1280–1380 ppm, Salinity 1.025–1.026, Temp 77–79°F.

  • Log every addition; small, frequent doses are more stable than occasional large ones.

  • Space dosing several hours from strong oxidizers or metal-removal resins.

  • If running new carbon/resins, dose traces after the change for repeatability.
