Directions

1. Test first: Measure magnesium and confirm your target (commonly 1280–1380 ppm for mixed reefs).

2. Calculate dose: Use the label’s dose-to-ppm relationship for your total system volume (display + sump minus displacement).

3. Split corrections: If a larger increase is needed, add in multiple small doses over 24–48 hours.

4. Maintenance: Establish a daily or every-other-day dose that matches uptake; verify with weekly tests and adjust.

5. Add in high flow (sump/overflow). Do not mix in the same container with alkalinity, calcium, or concentrated traces.

Bring alkalinity (7.5–9 dKH) and calcium (420–450 ppm) into range, then fine-tune Mg for long-term stability.

Best Practices

• Keep salinity stable (1.025–1.026); large, unscheduled water changes can swing Mg.

• Time additions away from fresh carbon/resin swaps for consistent contact time.

• If precipitation/film appears, reduce single-dose size and increase frequency.

• Log all additions; align with your BluePrint testing cadence and any ICP results.

Compatibility

• Safe alongside skimmers, carbon, phosphate media, refugia, and bacterial/trace programs (dose at different times).

• Works with two-part, kalkwasser, and calcium reactors; keep additions separate and in high flow.
