Directions

1. Test first: Obtain a recent ICP analysis and confirm the recommended copper correction.

2. Calculate dose: Use the label’s dose-to-ppb/µg·L⁻¹ relationship against total system volume.

3. Split corrections: For larger increases, divide into multiple micro-doses over several days rather than one addition.

4. Add in high flow (sump/overflow); avoid direct contact with coral tissue.

5. Verify & maintain: Re-test on your normal ICP cadence and convert to a small maintenance dose if ongoing uptake is observed.

6. Do not exceed label guidance—precision is critical with trace copper.

Best Practices

• Keep core parameters stable: Alk 7.5–9 dKH, Ca 420–450 ppm, Mg 1280–1380 ppm, Salinity 1.025–1.026, Temp 77–79°F (25–26°C).

• Log every trace addition; align dosing with your BluePrint schedule.

• Avoid dosing immediately alongside strong oxidizers or heavy-metal removers.

• If running new carbon/resins, dose after media changes for repeatable results.

Compatibility

• Safe for reef aquariums when used strictly at trace levels per testing and label guidance.

• Works alongside skimmers, carbon, phosphate media, bacterial programs, and refugia.

• Not intended as a therapeutic copper treatment for fish.
