Overview

Prepare clean, livestock-ready saltwater with confidence. Anticip8 is a BluePrint-compatible conditioning concentrate formulated to treat new or stored seawater before use. It helps neutralize typical impurities, stabilize chemistry, and support early biofilm formation, so water changes and new-system starts go smoothly—without adding unwanted nutrients or haze.

Key Features

  • Fast water prep — Designed to condition new mix water for immediate reef use when dosed as directed.

  • Chemistry stabilization — Helps buffer and balance freshly mixed seawater for consistent parameters.

  • Biofilm support — Encourages healthy microbial footing in sumps, reservoirs, and new systems.

  • Low-nutrient friendly — Does not intentionally raise NO₃/PO₄ when used correctly.

  • BluePrint-ready — Integrates cleanly with Captiv8 dosing schedules and testing workflows.

  • Multiple yields — Choose the concentrate size that makes 1 gallon, 5 gallons, or 16 ounces of working solution.

Directions

  1. Mix saltwater first: Bring RO/DI to target salinity and temperature.

  2. Dose Anticip8: Add per label for your chosen working-solution yield (1 gal, 5 gal, or 16 oz). Stir for even distribution.

  3. Circulate & aerate: Run a pump for 30–60 minutes to ensure complete conditioning.

  4. Verify parameters: Check salinity, temperature, and pH/alkalinity as part of your normal routine.

  5. Use or store: Use immediately for water changes, or store covered with circulation. Re-dose per label if water is stored long-term.

For new tanks or major resets, pair conditioned water with your bacterial program (e.g., Remedi8/Propag8 or your preferred culture).

Best Practices

  • Keep a consistent mixing reservoir routine (same RO/DI TDS, salinity, and mixing time).

  • Rinse/rotate mechanical media after large water changes to remove loosened organics.

  • Record batch dates and volumes to keep dosing predictable.

  • Avoid adding other concentrates to the same container at the exact same time; stagger by several minutes in high flow.

Compatibility

  • Safe for reef, FOWLR, and frag systems when used as directed.

  • Works with protein skimmers, carbon/PO₄ media, UV/ozone (dose in the reservoir; resume normal operation afterward).

  • Plays well with Captiv8 BluePrint major-ion and trace programs.
