FishFlux Rx is an antifungal medication formulated to treat both topical and systemic fungal infections in ornamental fish. Using Fluconazole, it effectively targets fungus such as Ichthyophonus hoferi and Saprolegnia, which are common culprits in aquarium fungal outbreaks. Designed for use in ornamental aquariums, this treatment requires careful dosing and temporary adjustments to filtration to ensure optimal efficacy over a 10 to 14-day treatment period.

• Targeted Antifungal Action:

  • Formulated with Fluconazole to treat fungus-susceptible infections, including Ichthyophonus hoferi and Saprolegnia.

• Comprehensive Treatment Protocol:

  • Dosage of 100 mg per 5 gallons of water, repeated every 24 hours for 5 consecutive days.
  • Partial water changes between treatments are recommended; discontinue use if no improvement is seen after 5 days.

• Preparation and Application Guidelines:

  • Turn off the skimmer and suspend the use of activated carbon and phosphate remover for 72 hours prior to and during treatment.
  • Remove all other chemical filtration, and use filter socks to aid in cleaning.
  • Best used in systems without macroalgae or a refugium.

• Precision Dosing Tools:

  • Each container includes 2000 mg of Fluconazole powder along with two plastic scoops: a large scoop (1 cc per 25 US gallons) and a small scoop (0.15 cc per 5 US gallons). Ensure the large scoop is leveled and the small scoop is dosed generously.

• Safety and Filtration Adjustments:

  • Suspend UV and mechanical filtration during treatment as these can inactivate or remove the medication.
  • Monitor oxygen levels carefully and ensure supplemental oxygen is provided as needed.
  • In the event of an overdose, Clear Fx Pro can be used to remove the medication from the tank.
