AvidAqua ModMag Mega

Overview

The AvidAqua ModMag Mega is a robust, modular magnetic mount designed for medium-to-large aquariums. It securely holds accessories on thicker panes without drilling—perfect for routing cords and tubing, anchoring small hardware, or tidying gear inside/outside the tank.

Key Features

  • Mega-strength magnet pair grips confidently through thick glass/acrylic (verify rating)

  • Modular face plate with slots/holes for zip ties, clamps, and custom brackets

  • Reef-safe build—encapsulated, corrosion-resistant magnets + marine-grade plastics

  • Low-profile design to minimize flow shadows and visual clutter

  • Inside/Outside versatility for equipment management wherever you need it

Common Uses

  • Route powerhead/gyre cables neatly along the pane

  • Secure dosing/ATO/airline tubing or probe/sensor holders

  • Anchor light return lines or small spray bars

  • Temporary mounting point for frag shelves during maintenance

Setup & Tips

  1. Clean the pane to remove salt creep and film.

  2. Place the wet side inside the tank and align the dry side outside.

  3. Use the slotted face to zip-tie or clamp accessories.

  4. For heavier loads, split weight across two ModMag units.

  5. Periodically remove and wipe both halves to prevent buildup.

Note: Confirm your aquarium’s pane thickness is within the ModMag Mega’s rating. Keep sand/grit off mating surfaces.
