Power off and depressurize the system.
Remove the old cap; clean threads, groove, and sealing face.
Lightly lube the new O-ring with silicone-safe grease and seat it evenly.
Install the cap hand-tight, then snug—do not overtighten.
Pressurize and leak-test; verify lamp illumination through the clear cap.
